Who Else
Wants To Build A Back Pain
Resistant-Bullet Proof
Spine?
The alarm
clock goes off...abruptly
waking you from a not so
deep sleep...you barely get
your eyes open and start to
roll out of bed...then...you
realize how much your back
is aching. You wonder how
much longer you're going to
have to deal with this. You
say to yourself "I hope it
just stays at an ache and
doesn't get any worse." You
go about your business and
make sure you call your
chiropractor to schedule
your appointment in hopes he
will be able to "put your
spine back in"....
Does this
sound all too familiar? I
have heard this type of
story at least 100 times
(OK, maybe exaggerating),
but I can tell you that it's
a lot!
No doubt
you are a seasoned back
pain veteran if you are
reading this--most of my
clients are! You've
probably seen more doctors,
chiropractors, and physical
therapists than I have
fingers and toes....and
still have not found the
relief you're after! You
would've figured that after
seeing all of these
"specialists" that one of
them would have figured out
your problem by now, but
guess what?
Almost
every single one of them
overlooks one of the most
CRITICAL factors that
can very well mean the
difference between
completely overcoming your
back pain, or just relieving
your symptoms temporarily.
The Most CRITICAL
Overlooked Factor In Back
Pain
Muscle
imbalances are the root
cause of over 98% of all
back pain! You may be
wondering where I got that
percentage from. Well...in
literally working with
hundreds of clients with
back pain over the last 6
years, about 98% of them
had directly measurable
postural imbalances.
Once the imbalances were
corrected with specific
exercises, stretches, and
muscle release techniques,
their back pain had
decreased either
dramatically or was
completely eliminated!
What is a
muscle imbalance?
Every
muscle in your body performs
a specific job. Muscles
have direct influence on
your bones and assist
movement. Joints in your
body often move in multiple
directions and therefore
sometimes require many
muscles to control
movement. Each muscle has a
direct opposite muscle that
performs the opposite
movement. The balance
between these two muscles
creates "optimal tension"
and puts the joint in a
"neutral" position.
Optimal
Muscle Balance Which Creates
Good Joint Health
Muscles
can become imbalanced
through bad posture, sitting
at a computer all day or
other habitual work
positions, sports, or even
more common, improperly
designed exercise programs
that do not work the muscles
of your body in the correct
ratios. This creates
unequal tension in the
muscles. One side becomes
tight and overworked, while
the other side becomes weak
and shut off.
Muscle Imbalance Which
Creates Increased Pressure
In The Joint and Overworked
Muscles
Muscles
can be a MAJOR source of
pain in your body,
especially when they become
overworked! Just think of
the last time you had that
"tension" in your upper back
and shoulders after sitting
at your computer for too
long! The same thing
happens to your back when
the muscles in your back and
pelvis are imbalanced.
Here Is How
To Eliminate Muscle
Imbalances...
Muscle
imbalances are created
through habitual bad
postures, imbalanced
exercise programs, or
repetitive sports
activities. These are all
movement based and involve
tons of repetitions!
Something your chiropractor
or doctor doesn't tell you
before draining your
pocketbook! No amount of
chiropractic adjustments,
ice or heat pack treatments,
medications, or surgeries
will correct repetitive
movement dysfunction!!!
It takes
movement training to correct
movement dysfunction!
Here are
4 key steps to eliminating
muscle imbalances:
-
Identify And Assess Your
Specific Muscle
Imbalances, Posture
Alignment, And Movement
Ability
-
Select Specific
Corrective Exercises And
Corrective Stretches To
Re-Align Your Body
-
Learn
What Optimal Posture Is
For You, Correct Your
Habitual Work Postures
And Faulty Movement
Patterns
-
Progress Your Exercises
And Stretches To Not
Only Get Out Of Pain,
But Also Prevent Future
Episodes Of Back Pain By
Improving Your Health,
Fitness, Strength, And
Core Stability
Step number
1 is to identify your
specific imbalances with the
help of a pro. You want
to know EXACTLY which
imbalances you have that are
contributing to your back
pain so that you know which
muscles to stretch and which
to strengthen. This
takes precise measurements
with postural and muscle
imbalance testing.
In Order To
Obliterate Your Back Pain
Forever You MUST Correct
The Muscle Imbalances
That Are Stressing Out Your
Spine!
